are we not done?

There is a story going around - Hindus and Muslims are helping each other in building their religious places in one state of INDIA, and in another state, there is a completely different tale going on- they are killing each other over a piece of land. Why don't we just let go few sentiments, why do we even allow our emotions to take control of our sane mind and lead to such disastrous actions, why does it has to be cowardly act to let go? why cant it be an understanding act? you build a temple or a mosque how is it going to help any one? except the people who want to see their ego win?why has GOD to be amid all these chaos? he was supposed to make sure peace prevails right? so why is he being the reason for all this? Is he trying to help?

There is this nice sensible song :why does it be only a song

  1. because thankfully our politicians and leaders dont have much to say in filming the song or writing the lyrics else they would make sure it happens in the songs toooo :)

  3. Hi Durga i don't believe that only politicians are responsible, all are equally responsible for such situations. This is the only mentality i hate, for everything bad blame others and if not then blame God. When people will really understand their religious sentiments are nothing but an ego problem, they will find may it be any religious place at last it only gives you peace. And all people around you have no religion but they are surely part of biggest drama called life.

  4. Hi Nrupen,

Welcome to the blog . I was not putting the blame onto any one, I was just trying to understand why emotions take over rationale , and since we are humans, we do tend to getting mucked up with both.

  5. Commerce plays a much bigger role than you might ever imagine. Many evils you look at today have their beginnings and motivations to be money. I mean, excess of money. Or rather, want of excess of money without actually deserving it. Dig through this issue and you will find this attitude to be the prime reason behind this and most other evils in our world (not just India).
